Sheldon G. Greenspan, O.D., Board Certified, ABO

Dr. Greenspan has achieved impressive qualifications in the field of primary eye care. He attended Hofstra University as an undergraduate and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He continued his education at Pennsylvania College of Optometry and the State University of New York for postgraduate training in the treatment and management of eye disease.  He is board certified by the American Board of Optometry .

Dr. Greenspan is a past President of the Tri County Optometric Society. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, as well as the American Optometric Association. He was selected to serve as a Clinical Skills Examiner for the Northeast Regional Clinical Optometric Assessment Testing Service and also serves as a Consultant to Omni Eye Services in the area of Post Cataract Care. He is affiliated with TLC and Clarity in the comanagement of Lasik surgery.

Dr. Greeenspan is married to his wonderful wife, Margie and together they have two children, Dave and Brian. 

Adam D. Mark, O.D., Board Certified, ABO

Dr. Adam Mark attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry. He is an Optometric Physician  certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. His training included internships at the Hudson Valley VA and Omni Eye Services of New Jersey.  He is board certified by the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Mark is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. He is also affiliated with TLC and Clarity, with whom he comanages Lasik surgery.

Dr. Mark is married and has two sons. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and watching Yankee baseball.

Joanna M. Lizzi, O.D.

Dr. Joanna Lizzi is the most recent addition to Greenspan Family Eyecare; she joined the team in December, 2010.  Dr. Lizzi, aWyckoff, New Jersey native, graduated from Villanova University wth a Bachelor of Science.  She chose to attend Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO); a school well known for its unique primary care philosophy and excellence in modern optometry.  While attending PCO, Dr. Lizzi was a member of the Lions Club and the American Optometric Student Association.  She also spent time as a vision screening volunteer for the Special Olympics.  Joanna Lizzi, O.D. completed several externships including a contact lens rotation at Liva Eye Center, N.J., a disease rotation at OMNI Eye Services, N.J., a primary care rotation at the Eye Institute at PCO, Pa., and a medical optometry rotation at the Ralph H. Johnson VA in Charleston, S.C..  She has recieved various honors for clinical excellence.

Dr. Lizzi graduated from PCO with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry.  She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.  Dr. Lizzi's interests include the NY Giants, skiing, and spending time with her family.
